This week on the day of Thursday, February 28, 2019, the most recent episode of Gotoubun no Hanayome is episode 8. This episode was a very great one giving some backstory, character development focused on Yotsuba and Nino, showing brief flashbacks in the perspective of the main character Uesugi of a figure with a dress and red hair. Of course, it was one of the quintuplets but in the end, they revealed the picture of the younger Uesugi but next to him was, the girl with the red hair. To leave the viewers in suspense they had Nino be reminded of her family memories book from Uesugi’s photo briefly giving a chance to view the sisters in the same time period as his photo. In this picture of all of them, they looked exactly the same which gives an even greater feeling of suspense. Throughout the episode, he is worried about the photo of when he was younger. The whole episode was executed greatly making you think that he was self-conscious of his appearance but in the end, it is revealed that the other half of the photo is what really makes him worried. So now comes the time in every Highschool, Romcom, anime where all the weebs have a war about who is “Best Girl” and talk to themselves saying “WHAT ARE YOU DOING” because the main character is not smart with the opposite gender.
I still think Miku is “Best Girl” fight me.
