If you play any Role Playing Game (RPG) or Japnese Role Playing Game (JRPG) you know that they require a lot of time to play specifically because you need to level up your characters which the most popular way to do that is through playing the game. These experience points aren’t just handed to you either you need to play the same thing, same enemies, same level, A LOT. The reason why RPG’s take up so much time is that you need to do hours and hours and hours on end of the same thing over and over again and there’s nothing different about Fate/Grand Order (FGO) in fact it’s worse.
There is usually a “most productive” way to power up and when you are doing the same level over and over it is called farming. It’s called farming because of how the player uses that same game feature to exploit the game but not necessarily cheat. In FGO you have certain characters, that have their own special moves but to use these moves you need to charge a bar to 100%.
This is where Craft Essences come in (CE), CE’s are cards you can attach to the characters in your party they give your characters bonus effects in battle and are very useful. To efficiently farm you want to have characters that have a special to clear all enemies in one turn to take the least amount of time as possible. There is a CE named Kaleidoscope that starts the character off with 80% of their special bar charged and to have a good farming comp you’ll also need characters with skills that charge the special bar as well to get everyone to 100%.
Once everyone is charged DESTROY EVERYTHING IN YOUR WAY and do what’s called a three turn. A three turn is when you clear the level in the least amount of turns possible which in farming EXP would be three turns. If you are doing it in 4 turns or less this is inefficient and is a significant time waster when all the time is added up.
